Who Is The AMMP-UBY Intern?

This program is suited for the individual who wishes to grow in knowledge of God’s grace and Word, experience practical service opportunities in His Kingdom, and to earn a small stipend in lieu of a summer job. Tasks an Intern might undertake:

• Serve in community youth camps and outreach administered or approved by Upward Bound Youth.
• Potentially participate in UBY sponsored or affiliated travel such as Mission Trips and the ACC Youth Choir.
•Act as a counselor at various Bible Camps in North America.
•Assist in the development of Fall Youth Programs and Retreats.

This program can also be tailored to create an intern position held throughout the academic year. In the application and interview process, the intern would describe the skills/interests he or she currently has as well as those he or she would be interested in developing that could mutually benefit the organization of UBY and its community. Some examples would include: graphic design, landscaping, youth programming, technology, administrative tasks, photography, social media, research, data and reports, etc.
